Seems as usual double standards applies on here, JJ is not yet ready for Hatton, just because Hatton had an off night against Collazo (old news) then the usual bull**** applies!
    great comment on the bums
at this moment in time i dont think jole julio can be fighting hatton
hel loose and loose badly and making that transition from bums to world class too early is gonna hurt hes carear

I hate how people think that collazo hurt hatton because hatton couldnt handle collazos weak power. The reason hatton got hurt is because he didnt see a "LEFT" hook coming. Why didnt he see it? becuase collazo is a freakin southpaw and hatton sucks against southpaws!!! jeez, stop being stubborn.

Hatton has a great chin and can definetly withstand Julios power. julio will get KOed early if they fight now. EARLY. Anyone who knows boxing is gonna say that hatton wins. Anybody

Joels gonna be a monster, or Carlos if he happens to win. I dont see anybody esle at Welterweight, that would beat them standing infront of them.

hatton will fight and beat the 36 year old urkal then conveniently side step the young, hungry, unbeaten julio by then abdicating the WBA belt and facing the gatti/baldomir winner instead.

where did you discover this? are you positive?

i was pretty sure myself that the paul williams vs walter mattyse
fight and the julio vs quintana fight were part of a two fight tournament to determine hattons challenger.

so that would mean the winner of julio/quitana still has to beat paul williams to get the #1 contender status.

that is unless williams turned down that opprutunity for some reason, can someone clarify this?

he won't see Julio's looping shot coming either but when it hits him it will put him down for 10+ seconds, unlike Collazo who hurt him with single shots...I don't care if he didn't see it coming, or that he was a southpaw...Collazo isn't known for his power and was hurting Hatton with single shots at 147, Julio's fought at 153-154 and is known for his power, and I'd go as far to say he's twice the puncher Collazo is, your response to my saying Hatton couldn't survive a flush right hook from Julio because weak Collazo hurt Hatton with much lesser punches, 'he didn't see Collazo's punch coming' is just silly imo..All the Euros get offended when someone says anything negative about Hatton and I'm a hatton fan...but it's true, Julio would easily ko him and after tonight, you'll understand why
