    Woot Possible Hatton-Joel Julio fight......

Yup I just discovered today that JJ vs Carlos quintana will be for the WBA no1 spot so winner of this fight will get a title shot at ricky hatton. I know ricky hatton may vacate this title and move down but why not defend your title for once before moving down to 140? I mean Joel julio will have nothing to lose in this fight. Even if he loses, It wouldnt mean much because hes very young and un-experienced and hatton is a P4p boxer. also Joel julio's future is at middleweight so one loss at Welterweight(and that too against a P4P guy like Hatton) wouldnt mean much tbh. on other hand this fight for hatton will be risky offcourse, but isnt boxing all about risk? If u don't wanna take risk then why even box in the first place? . I mean If u wanna duck all the serious competetion and keep fighting bums then sooner or later you will loose all the public respect.

I know the best way Hatton can silence all his critics is by fighting and beating a guy like Joel julio. I am a Huge fan of hatton but if he decides to duck the winner of this fight then he will surely lose One fan here. Lets hope that hatton takes up the challange and Proves all the haters wrong.

Julio is a great boxern he have agility and power.

ofcourse he wont stand toe-toe with Hatton but he could move side ways use he jab to set-up the big powerful right.

i think Joel Julio would win by TKO in the late round where Hatton is cut.

It won't happen. Once Hatton beats Urkal he'll vacate the WBA belt and go for someone else.

If JJ can box hatton he would win, but there is no way in hell that he would be able to. Hatton is getting increasingly better at making his opponent fight his fight for like 60% of the fight.

And when the fight isnt on the inside like he wants, its not on the outside either. He jumps in and starts attacking that inside.

Hatton would knock this guy out in the early rounds.

Now, if JJ waited a while in his career, and fought hatton in maybe 2 years, THEN id be saying this would be a more competitive fight with hatton winning in the late rounds.

But he ain't gonna fight him. Julio hasnt proven himself yet and Hatton probably would feel embarrassed to even be asked to fight him. No reason u should lose respect for hatton if he doesnt fight JJ right away.

Wouldnt u rather see corrales vs hatton or castillo vs hatton???

what a joke. If Collazo, a guy not known for his power at 147, can hurt Hatton with single shots, what the **** do you think a murderous puncher who's fought at 153 will do to him? A guy known for power and technical proficiency at that? He'd take Hatton out before the 10th

Considering Joel Julio has fought what is it ZERO good opponents, I don't think any of you have any right to pick him to beat Hatton. ****, we don't even know enough about Cotto to decide whether HE could beat Hatton and his resume dwarfs Joel WHOlio's

people knew mike was great when he was destroying bums, who had he fought then?

It's the way you destroy those bums that separates whether or not you're handling bums with ease, or choosing easy opponents because you suck. Julio is handling bums with ease, the signs of greatness are unmistakeable...And to close,

Joel Julio will change the way this generation thinks when they hear the term "Great fighter"

Ok, I see your point, how is it though that before Hatton beat KT he was not considered good enough to mix it with the best yet he had destroyed dozens of so called bums???

Seems as usual double standards applies on here, JJ is not yet ready for Hatton, just because Hatton had an off night against Collazo (old news) then the usual bull**** applies!
