The boxer was promoted for most of his career by Top Rank - until he filed a lawsuit to break that promotional agreement back in 2014. The lawsuit lasted for two years, until they were able to reach an agreement - and then Garcia returned to the ring as a free agent in the fall of 2016.

I think Mikey may try to really stick to being a free agent. He has turned everyone but Showtime down.

Imo he needs a promoter, but only time will tell if he may the right move.
