The Brewster fight was one thing but now i come and read this:

    Wlad was drugged vs Sanders!

Watch the fight again... during his entrance his eyes look hazey and glossy... he seemed like he wasnt all there!

That wasnt the same Wlad that night in Hanover, Germany!

My opinion on Wlad: Tremendous skill and power. Lacking a chin and stamina. In the past he has beaten good fighters, but in the last couple of years he has looked pathetic. To say he should retire is premature becuase he is still young and maybe can turn it around in this talent weak division. To say he is a top contender is also premature. I would sure like to see him beat someone convincingly.....ANYONE! I wish him well becuase he seems like a good guy and it would be great for Boxing...having said that, I don't feel he will.(my opinion)
Well what's your opinion as why Wlad lost to Purrity?

I would have to watch it again to give an honest answer. My memory tells me Wlad tired late? But I'm not clear on that fight. Please don't bring me into the middle of the Wlad arguments. I gave my opinion on him. Some was positive, some negative. Let me leave it at that. This topic has been argued back and forth for years it seems. Every angle has been covered. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens

Since you have a better memory of the fight, what did happen in the Puritty fight in your opinion?

First of all Purrity has a rock solid chin. It Wlad's first fight in Ukraine and it looked like he was trying to be overimpressive for the hometown crowd. Wlad used to fight with a lot more movement as he was bouncing around the ring and such. Purrity didn't start tagging him with power shots until the 5th round. Time and time again he wasted a lot of energy trying to put Purrity by throwing 4 and 5 punch combos. Wlad started eating a lot of punches by the time the 10th round came around. He goes down one time though it wasnt from a punch. He was retreating along the ropes and he fell when the ropes came to an end at a corner. Finally during one of Purrity's barages Wlad's corner jumps in the ring and stops the fight. And Purrity has good power too, which is strange as to why Wlad never went down from a punch. Though I haven't seen the 9th round so I don't know what happened during that round.

He lost to Purrity because he was exhausted. He had fought about 22 fights in the course of 24 months!

About 22 fights in 24 monts = 25 fights in a little less than 25 months.

Shouldn't you be watching a Kung Fu movie or something?
