You didn't address the fact that TOS was doing anything to tire Wlad out except dancing around the ring.

I'm not sure I buy the nosebleed thing. Plus, Wlad's legs looked bad early. He seemed nervous the whole way through to me.

So now the Showtime crew is lying. Seeming nervous has nothing to do with TOS's ability to close the show.

The TOS headbutt was on purpose! Watch it again!

and he was drugged vs Brewster so that fight is irrelevant!

No way that headbutt was on purpose. The two guys just came togehter. I've heard the drugged comment, too. But the fact remains, for those who don't buy the drug story, Brewster's fight seems like a blueprint for guys that wouldn't stand a shot against Wlad fighting in the center of the ring trading punches.

It doesn't seem like they are going to give him one anyway.

Wladimir, according to the advice from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, you should not carry out even easy sparring within two months, and should not fight anyone for at least six months… So, how’s your health and state of mind?
That’s the first time I heard that. I feel perfectly fine. My mood is great.

And what’s the deal with your cut?
I have no problem with the wound. On Sunday in the afternoon, in Las Vegas I went to the medical complex “Town Center,” where plastic surgeon Ronald Biff Makkann, who has worked with Oscar De La Hoya and many other boxers, in fifteen minutes, operated on the cut and was able to close it, leaving just a small scar in its place.

Wladimir, maybe I’m ahead a bit, but there are persistent rumors about your next fight in December?
Basically there is such an idea. However, whether I’ll be able to fight in December will be known by the end of this month. If the process of rehabilitation passed well, when most likely I will box by the year’s end. That’s something I would like. But will it happen, we’ll find out later.

Wladimir, what do you think of the last nights fight?
The most important thing in this fight was a victory, and realistically I expected a different end to that fight. Overall the fight was good. I was ready for this fight, and showed that I’m physically and physiologically ready to fight.

And what about mentally, how was your fighting spirit. Some say that lately you’re lacking it?
I don’t agree with that statement. While I’m able to fight – I will do that. I was ready to continue fighting, even though I was head budded. I needed just a round or two to end the fight.

But your opponent disagrees with you, and even said that he needed just one more round to end the fight. DaVarryl told the press that he knocked you down, that you breathed heavily, and was able to evade your punches…
Well, what can I say…? I was hit with two unpleasant punches. As far as knockdown concern, I was carrying out attack, and was off balance, so even a push would’ve stumbled me.
If DaVarryl thinks that I missed all my punches, then he should closely watch the fight again. It was him who missed most of his punches. Besides, he was also rather tired since he constantly moved trying to avoid my attacks.
He spoke of his plan to fight aggressively in the end, yet it seemed he was just trying to justify his passivity in the fight, plus his trainers constantly shouted for him to do something and attack me throughout the fight.

DaVarryl said that he wants a rematch…
                  I don’t think so, it’s not necessary.

Wladimir, what were you unable to do in this fight?
I wanted to win quickly and convincingly, and that averted my attention from being more cautious.

How did Emanuel Steward rate your performance?
Generally my performance was good. He has noted some things we have to improve on, and we’ll take care of that in the future.

                  Your plans?
Already tonight we fly off to Germany, where the presentation of our autobiography “Between Brothers…” will take place.

Lastly, few words to your fans…
I want to thank all of you for the support given to me. Perhaps, this fight wasn’t my best one, but it did answer some of those questions I had since Lamon’s fight. I want to return to the ring as soon as possible to begin preparing for my next fight. I am ready to reach our dream – that both Vitali and I simultaneously hold a world championship belts. This dream will become reality.

The 4th round was scored 10-9 on every single official judges scorecard. Poor TOS

I don't really need to see a Williamson rematch anyway. Wlad's opponent might as well have not had a name the other night. The focus is on Wlad and not the guy he fought. Any number of pros could have fought the way DaVarryl did the other night. Only Corrie Sanders really destroyed Wlad. The other 2 losses were Wlad beating himself. Or the bigots as tech9ne will add if I don't beat him to it.
