This just proves he never really wanted the fight in the first place.

    1. He refused to make the first offer.

    2. He refused to allow negotiation on the 1 $50m offer he made.

    3. He turned down the chance to hype up the fight by attending AJ/Parker.

    4. He refuses to talk about the fight unless it's anything other than 'next'.

    5. He repeatedly tells us he must get a 50/50 split. He never would have signed for anything less than this. His own offer included a damn 50/50.

    6. He throws emotional child-like tantrums on social media.

And people call AJ the diva?

Yes. There's nothing else they could have done. They conceded on every single issue in an effort to make the fight happen this year.

If it wasn't for Hearn making the initial offer would they have bothered to make one themselves? If the AJ $50m comment hadn't turned up on youtube would they have ever made a counter offer?
The two sides were discussing the fight since last year. Various offers had gone back and forth. Things were being kept relatively quiet. When Wilder destroyed King Kong and AJ struggled with Parker, Hearn got cold feet and started playing the media game to absolve AJ of blame when the fight didn't happen.

But before those fights, Finkel & papa Hearn were discussing a two fight deal, on a percentage split. Fight fight in the US. Rematch in the UK no matter who won the first fight. It was only after the King Kong & Parker fights that Eddie took over and insisted on flat fees.

Finkel & Barry were working together to make a deal for months. There was no need for "offers" as they were working in good faith as a team to get a deal done. The "offers" only came into the picture when Eddie decided to stall the fight.

There was nothing to negotiate. Hearn refused to accept the 50 million purse.

Only because AJ refused to allow him in the ring. Sky invited him to commentate and confront AJ in the ring. AJ banned Wilder from coming into the ring.

        4. He refuses to talk about the fight unless it's anything other than 'next'.
He's tired of waiting. Good for him. He should move on with his life.

He agreed to go to the UK for a flat fee. Hearn still wouldn't do it.

          Conjecture.

So you agree with me. Wilders offer was un-negotiable. Doesn't sound like he wanted the fight that bad if the financials aren't allowed to be discussed.

A nonsense reason. AJ said it's up to him if he wants him in the ring or not. This is not WWE. You don't go around on other people's shows demanding to get in the ring when you haven't signed a contract. That's disrespect.

He's tired of waiting. Good for him. He should move on with his life.
The biggest fight of his life and the biggest money of his life is on a contract. And he wants to walk away? Fine. But no more mentioning the unified champion.

He agreed to go to the UK for a flat fee. Hearn still wouldn't do it.
Did he sign for the flat fee? No. That means he hasn't agreed anything.

          • Finkel is a disgrace and he has done more harm than good to Wilder's career. He should have been the one chasing this contract and not the other way round. Wilder needs Joshua more more than the way Joshua needs Wilder. It is shameful for Shelly Finkel to come out to spew out this rubbish. I don't blame him though, he can say whatever he likes because intelligent people stopped following boxing a decade and a half ago

            • This is the same Winkel clown who denied Hearn a meeting when Hearn was probably just a stone's throw away when he was in the US.
Is that how you negotiate a deal?

                Fixed it for you.

                • Here we go again Joshua lovers refuse to accept that their hero is **** scared of wilder and they will listen to any bull**** spun by Hearn and Joshua makes you want to throw up

                  • Joshua fans will defend him saying stuff like Wilder needs Joshua more than Joshua needs him but without Wilder Joshua is just a protected European, holding the belts hostage.

Yes, they did everything they could have done ... and it's not their fault that Wilder lost his pen and Finkel didn't have time to find it for him before the WBA ordered AJ to fight his mando.
