To be fair, any big income fight relies on casual viewers. Hardcore boxing fans aren't a great money pot.

I think you'll find you're actually referring to Joshua and Hearn; not 4 countries.

AJ fans be wanting Wilder to sign a contract for a fight that's 10 months away which is attached to a flat fee. They bring up the fact that Wlad /AJ had a sign contract to fight before AJ faced Molina, but fail to bring up that both were going to receive a percentage so it didn't matter when they fought. Hearn wants Wilder to take a flat 15 mil for a fight thats months away knowing that the fight will be bigger then and make more money than it will now. Why not offer a percentage to Wilder and tell him to sign.

Why couldn't Hearn just say this from the beginning; That the fight was happening until 2019? That is what got everyone upset with him and Team Joshua in the first place.

              Sign the contract Deyonce.

No, it's not next because your people took too long to find their pen. But Joshua is fighting in April.

There's your shot at all the belts Mr 'baddest man in the planet'. Take it before Fury or the Whyte/Parker winner does.

Also an extra $5m just because you knocked a mutual opponent out just isn't right... Styles make fights.

Wilder shouldn't accept a flat fee but he doesn't deserve any more than say 40%. The figures don't like and whilst I don't agree with it he brings next to nothing to the table. Aj would sell out any venue in the UK fighting sleep, never mind a live opponent so he holds the cards.

If Wilder wins then whilst he still might not technically be the A-side (1 win doesn't make that happen) he will be the A side in the rematch negotiations and Hearn/AJ would no doubt accept a reasonable offer from them.

Oh and Hearn is a gob****e but a very good promoter who gets the most for his fighters.

PS. AJ beats Wilder in my humble opinion
I agree with the 40%. It would probably wind up being more than $20 million. Does AJ beat Wilder? I make him the favorite at maybe the same odds as your suggested financial split.

Uncle Hearn getting desperate. no other opponent for Joshua to do big numbers in April. You better start new round of negotiations quickly and peg it at 65-35% or 60-40% if you are looking for a deal to get made. Wilder is in a good position at this point.
