lomachenko is out with an injury hes said many times he'd be down to fight mikey. he hurt his shoulder in his win over linares and got surgery done on it. you already know that though and tank is a coward who mentions loma but won't dare get in the ring with him. Of course loma is going to respond back
Yeah yeah yeah, we all know about about the shoulder injury, but we also all know his desire to fight Mikey is as lukewarm as Thurman’s desire to fight Spence.
I think there’s a big difference between taking the lead and saying you wanna fight someone vs responding to some reporter asking u about the fight. In the latter instance u have to say “yes I want that fight”
Mikey has been asking for that fight for at least two years now.
But it may not necessarily be Loma, rather, it could be Bob or a combination of both not wanting that fight. Who really knows . But we do know that the Loma side is lukewarm about that fight.Comment

So how long before the anti-Golovkin brigade who gave Golovkin **** for fighting a smaller fighter (after his intended target Eubank Jr. forgot his pen), flips a switch on Spence for fighting a guy who looked fat at 140 and is obviously a smaller fighter (worse that Spence looks big for his own weight class as well)?Comment

I remember Coppinger mentioning the possibility of this fight happening a few weeks ago. Mikey and Robert have said in the past that Spence isn't all that dynamic and is pretty straight forward....The problem is so is Mikey. This isn't a Duran or Pacquiao moving up in weight, it's a blown up WW who is super technical. He's just not going to be able to hold Spence off for the entire fight.
From Al's perspective, he's probably thinking this guy Mikey may not be loyal to me and could leave to Matchroom or Zuffa Boxing, so might as well cash him out while I can LOL.......I kid, sort of......Comment

Another unnecessary fight. Like GGG-Brook. Canelo-Khan. Those fights didn’t need to happen and there were ultra low demands for them — if there were any.
This is not greatness in my book. This is being ****y and ******.
I like Mikee a lot, but if he wants to go to 147 he should take it step by step. Otherwise he’s gonna get KTFO.
Mikee has great timing but he doesn’t have much athletism and footspeed to dodge and get away from big dudes.
Sometimes amazing fundamentals would not be enough to overcome the physical odds — and this is one of the case.
No matter how good Mikee will be, he won’t be enough to the onslaught of spence— given they’ll fight in the immediate future.
2-3 years from we don’t know. But right now, spence too big too strong, it’ll be a bit okay if that ends there.
But spence is also smart and good.
So nope. Don’t wanna see a mismatch.
You’re not Duran Mikey.Comment

But when you say there is nothing to lose? Disagree, he could take a career beating that could ruin his career. And if he gets destroyed, is he going to jump back down to 135? Go down to 140? Jumping down in weight, especially two weight classes is a risky proposition itself.
So yeah, don't buy that Mikey has nothing to lose. Unless his corner stops the fight before he starts to really take a beating. Then he won't lose much.Comment
