he's deserved the credit he's gotten. the way he destroyed PEDerson was amazing. danny garcia and spence were not able to beat him as impressively as lucas did and they had the advantage of facing a washed up version of PEDerson. he also outboxed and beat a prime devon alexander. you and the demo will never give a non black boxer the props he desverves. admit it.

Isn't Pacman a free agent now? There are conflicting reports, but if Pacquiao wants that fight, it can happen for sure. If he beat Thurman, he could go out on top, beating the #1 ranked welterweight in the world and for the real WBA belt. Also Thurman brings in big numbers in views, it's proven.

Al and Arum have to start working together to make big fights sooner or later, maybe the winner of that could fight Crawford?

Pacman's contractually obligations with Top Prank, are done. Hence Many Paquiao's promotional company been the leading promotional company (excuse the redundancy) for this event.

I'd be surprised if he beat Thurman, even with the layoff. He should definitely get credit if he pulled that off. Lucas isn't exactly young blood at this point.

Man remember Thurman?! I can't believe how long it's been since he fought, the division heats up and he goes missing. Thurman not the top dog at all at 147 he needs to get back and stop this 'one time' a year s***. Albeit due to injuries.

Thurman will stay away from Spence and Crawford because he knows he can’t win those fights. But he’s fight the winner of PAC-Matthysse for sure since he knows those guys are on the way out.

Matthysse can definitely crack, even a bit more than Thurman... but Lucas simply can't quite be the better boxer he has to be for elite status. He has almost all the tools, just not quite.

Besides, he has Manny problems. A fight where he has to overcome someone who is as good a boxer as Thurman, and who has nearly as much power. And it isn't like Matthysse has that much age advantage over Manny. Fans sometimes forget Lucas has had some really grueling fights... and Manny hasn't really had all that much of those in his career. At least not in recent years. I suspect Manny cruises to a solid UD this weekend, unless Lucas can get lucky with a bomb or two. And then as some others have said, Keef will be glad to fight Lucas on his comeback.
