Honestly I don’t blame Miller for this one I get not wanting to fight over there for what’s probably **** money. I’m pretty sure he could make more more against an opponent at that level in the states

I believe the regular is entitled to a shot at the super champion within a 20 month time frame but he has to request his shot. If he doesn't request his shot in the time frame he will lose his status i think. Povetkin milked his regular title for almost the entire 20 months defending 4 times against Boswell, Rahman, Huck & Wawrzyk before finally requesting his shot. Unless the rules have changed. I can't seem to find the rules on the regular champion other than the Super champion was suppose to be someone with multiple belts. I don't know anymore what the WBA does...

$500000 his purse would be. 2 million bid & 75/25 split in favour of the #1 contender Pulev...

When all is said and done, professional boxing is nothing more than a cold, hard business.

Boxing and their team are always jockying for the best possible option that involves analyzing RISK/REWARD.

Unless there is a LOT of money involved, going to someone's backyard can be career suicide in this business.

It would not be so bad if we did not have soo much home cooking in most of these fights that go to the score cards.

Sounds like when it was all said and done he would be risking losing by bad decision for a net of 200k+. Not worth it in my opinion.

Next in line is Hughie Fury. I hope they take the fight & have carried on putting it all together in the gym.

I think Hughie has real potential & could hold the belt for a long time

Pulev isnt an easy fight for him but hes more than capable of beating Pulev & stopping him

He'd earn a good purse & would then be due a shot at joshua in 2019

Fury, if he reaches his potential schools Joshua. Its a hard fight but Hughie can **** when he wants, he's fast, slick, technical, fast feet & good ring craft
                  Hughie schools who?? Joshua buasti???

Same folks alright with Whyte passing up the 500K are calling Miller everything but a child of God for passing up the same deal.

At least Miller was willing to do the fight in the US or neutral territory.

                    Just amazing...

And before anyone tries to come for me about what Whyte did or did not do vis-a-vis Pulev, read this.

Kubrat Pulev has launched an attack on Dillian Whyte and Eddie Hearn after the surprise announcement that the British fighter had agreed to fight Joseph Parker.

Pulev (25-1, 13KOs) had been ordered to fight in a final eliminator with Whyte for the right to be the mandatory challenger for the IBF title. However, after the fight went to purse bid - which Whyte's promoter Hearn lost - negotiations failed to advance.

Whyte has repeatedly said that he would fight anyone in the division, but Pulev has now accused him of doing everything possible to avoid fighting him.

"I was expecting from Dillian Whyte and his team to run away from the fight, but I didn't expect from them to be such bull**** artists," Pulev said in a statement.

"They are extreme manipulators and plain schizophrenics. I can't believe what I'm hearing and what a tricky way they chose to run away from the fight in Bulgaria.

"The whole time Hearn kept talking in circles about negotiations and how they are still trying to bring me to UK. All this while a date and a place was already announced by the winner of the bid -- us."

Pulev had been due to fight Anthony Joshua in an IBF mandatory back in October before pulling out with injury 12 days before the fight. He had been hoping to get another shot at the world titles by beating Whyte in a fight that was planned to take place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

"We won the IBF purse bid rights with almost double the money they offered. Nobody wants to fight Dilian? YOU ARE DELUSIONAL MAN! First of all I never refused and I still want to fight with you! DILLIAN, if Hearn is misleading you somehow, let me tell you personally- I am still waiting for you in Bulgaria to help you get out of the delusion and bring you back to earth!

Whyte refused to dwell on the situation with Pulev, telling ESPN: "I let Eddie deal with all that. He's the one that deals with the route. He puts the pins up and I knock them down."
