Anyway, wonder if the IBF will require an automatic mandatory, especially since I expect the winner of GGG vs Canelo to take on Saunders. If so, according to the IBF rankings, the winner will have to fight Andrade (if he agrees, which I don't know why he wouldn't) so possibly more good fights ahead.
lil g could of EASILY fought his mandatory. Stop making excuses for a grown man....smh

have you seen charlos resume...ggg fought the top 2 guys while he was waiting for the wbc mandatory. charlo is fighting bums while waiting. ggg built himself into a guy who sold 20k seats before fighting canelo. charlo still fights on undercards. please don't compare them its silly.

End of the day GGG had two choices to keep the IBF Belt.

Fight Vanes and promise to fight Sergiy next

That is exactly what he should of done.

                  EVERYTHING was already in place.

                  Date
                  Arena
                  Sergiy's $
                  GGG's $$

The ONLY reason why the fight didnt happen is because GGG didnt want that work for $1,000,000. He wanted more $$$$ for that work.

GGG CHOSE Vanes for easy work AND easy $$$. His SUCKER fans didnt give 2 shts who he fought. All those 95% bums he already fought tells us this..

His fans would hype up the most homely of bums as some big ass contender

He made a business choice. I don't hate on him for it but that is what he decided to do. He's an adult, no reason for people to make excuses for him. Idk why they do. On the bright side, we get this fight now.

So Jacobs is fighting a guy with 12 fights??? At this juncture of his career? What does Derevyanchenko have to lose in this situation? Not a thing. What does Jacobs have to lose? A few things. Bad move, in my opinion.
