if you keep the weight low leading into your training camp, wouldn't that make it easier to make weight??

Boxing would change drastically if fighters could no longer attain huge weight advantages by cutting weight.
I for one would welcome it. I want to see the person with the best skills and heart win.
        Not the most size advantage.

Nice list . I'd add Rey Vargas and Howard Easter Jr. to it .
          But Munguia ?
I think he looked huge against Ali because Sadam was really a Welterweight. Cotto ( who Ali beat for the 154 lbs. title ) himself was small at Junior Middle .

I agree with Arum it should have never come down to this.

I rarely side with Arum, but this time I'll make the exception. It's funny though, how many fans call severe dehydration a duck. When most of us have had dehydration on some level, and we know the weakness, lack of flexibility etc. And also, I don't think fighters in general pay as close attention to dehydration as they should. The focus is to grind hard in camp, and with that sometimes fighters don't listen to their bodies very well. Hopefully O'Connor comes out of this okay and can do a tune up fight in the fall.

Then why don’t you match him up against a better opponent and stop with these mismatches
