I don't know for sure but the comment he made about Manny choosing one profession first or the other came across like that to me and If I were Manny, I would have probably taken it hard as well. Remember, the ones you care for the most are the ones that have the most power to hurt you.

roach will never tell pac (his only star fighter) that it's time to hang it up IF manny still wants to fight.

i believe the reason pac got upset is from the horn fight. where freddie didnt do much, didnt complain one bit to the ref about how horn was fighting and then at the end when horn was awarded the winner, freddie didnt even protest about the outcome.

then weeks after the fight, roach came out and said he doesnt know if manny is mad at him but he still hasnt got paid yet for the horn fight.

when word got to pac, pac release a statment saying he still hasnt got paid himself and that roach should be asking arum not manny. this is prolly what set it off. it was unprofessional on freddie's part.

i know you're referring to this. what im saying is i believe this never happen. if you've been following what roach has been saying, he never mention this until now. which is why i dont believe him.

here's what roach said regarding what happen after the horn fight. if manny wont even talk to him, how did he tell manny to rethink about what he really wants to do if in this statement he said pac wont even say hi to him. lol. this is why i said freddie is lying about this.

Manny would have been fine with Freddie but needed a excuse for his poor (by his standards) performance .The truth is Manny is no longer top flight with the top guys .He will fight the faded names and not the Crawford's or Spence's but will still demand huge purses .
