Common sense tells Usyk will win by boxing circles around Gassiev. At the same time, a single Gassiev body shot might end the myth of invincibility of Usyk.

    It's that kind of fight.

Its got that Chavez vs Taylor feel to it. Styles make fights and hard to see this one being a snoozer.

I expect a close points win for Usyk, but Gassiev going to keep him honest every minute of every round.

Watch Ali vs. Foreman again and don't be surprised to see a repeat. Usyk is also able to stop Gassiev by tiring him out with speed, movement and big workrate which Gassiev never seen before.

IMO Usyk´s workrate and movement will give Gassiev big problems. Usyk is no one dimensional Dorticos who threw the same combination in all 12 rounds.

I think it will pan out similarly to the Dorticos fight but Usyk probably isn’t going to take so many big shots which makes the fight more even. Usyk is hittable though....

I can’t wait to see Bellew take on the winner

Gassiev is way too slow and upright for Usyk. He is even slower than Huck and you saw what Usyk did to Huck. He will be a living punching bag for Usyk in the ring. Also by Round 8-9 Gassiev will be very tired due to Usyk´s constant workrate and movement for each second of each round. Gassiev on the other hand takes many breaks in the rounds and he can't afford to do it against Usyk who will punish him for that . I expect Usyk to stop Gassiev in Round 10. Gassiev isn't effective against opponents who constantly move and have a high workrate.Abel Sanchez even hinted that Gassiev´s only chance to win is a body or liver shot.

That´s one way to look at it.. here´s mine: Gassiev is very smart for his age and has surprising hand speed and good/great stamina. Usyk will probably take the first half of the fight but he can´t afford any mistakes and Gassiev will hurt him in the second half, maybe a KD but no KO. A very close decision either way and a rematch at HW. Any way the fans win.

Speaking of Lomachenko. He returns on August 25th already. Who had ever done this 3 months after a shoulder surgery ?
