Good luck to Liam Smith, not sure it will help him though.

Smith will do well if he lasts a little longer than Sadam Ali.

Liam Smith is limited but he is tough and a former champion, with a lot of experience. This fight will be a good measuring rod for Mungia. If Jaime dominates the fight and knocks Smith out within 5 rounds, it will be a huge boost to his career. It is possible that the fight will go the distance, but that is not likely.
        We shall see.

Smith was not doing well in the fight with Alvarez. Liam was not hurting Canelo and was absorbing serious throughout the fight. Take another look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7paXYFHGhM

I predict a brutal knockout in favor of Munguia

              Should be a good one.

I like Munguia but I don't like this fight with Liam Smith which unfortunately has to happen since he beat Ali. It's not even a 50/50 fight which makes it less exciting. The co-main event will be better to say the very least. If Munguia beats Hurd or Lara, then he's made a statement that he really is a dangerous threat to the super welterweight division and not the nobody people kept calling him the moment his name was mentioned as a replacement opponent for GGG

For those that are curious Ringside Report thinks once odds are posted Munguia will be a 15-1 favorite and Smith a 8.5-1 underdog. Definitely not the odds I was hoping for but free money is free money...
