How did they fail? They still have cards coming up and I never got into the fan boy mode like many do. I can careless if it’s PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy? Hearn etc long as it’s a fight I would like to see I will watch and support
How on earth did pbc fail?

What makes you think PBC failed?
-Showtime significantly increased it's boxing budget, with the vast majority of that going to PBC fighters.
-The time buy phase proved that boxing was a viable sport property off of premium cable (he seemingly got short money on it, but Bob Arum was able to get a content deal with ESPN and to help build ESPN+).
-PBC still has a great relationship with FOX/FS1, and with the UFC taking everything to ESPN and WWE SmackDown being set to feature Friday night on FOX (Thursday Night Football is also set for FOX), FS1 is without a ton of content for 2019 and beyond (with Showtime/CBS maxing out at ~20 dates for Showtime Championship Boxing/SHO International and another ~15 dates for ShoBox, and BounceTV getting their 4 shows a year, PBC has more than enough fights to deliver the 4 dates for FOX and however many FS1 dates that Fox Sports wants to have filled).Comment

its still going I believe so this conversation may be premature?
That said, the model looks flawed to me. Content is king but you need the right platform to distribute it. DAZN may fail but the model looks far better suited to the modern broadcast landscape than the PBC format, at least as I understand it from the outside.Comment
