BUT against which opponents ??? Against old Lebedev & Wlodarczyk + one dimensional Dorticos who never went 12 rounds before in his entire career. Usyk is a whole different level.

Yes he is able but can he do it ? I don't think that Usyk will be so naive to let Gassiev do it. Usyk himself said after the Briedis fight that he won't repeat the mistakes he made in that fight. From the stylistical point of view Briedis is a tougher fight for Usyk than Gassiev. Briedis moved a lot but Gassiev comes in straight lines at you with zero head movement. Briedis looks from outside not as spectacular as inside the ring. Ask any opponent and sparring partner he has faced and they will too that Briedis is very hard to beat.

It's all just a play to him. When Golovkin fought Lemieux, he boxed and didn't get into exchanges because it would be dumb. He's just trying to guilt or goad Canelo into trying to get into some exchanges to mess with his head. I'm pretty sure that they're planning for Canelo to move again and have better stamina, but if Sanchez' goads work, thats just bonus.
No buying that "he is just talking" when he accuse Canelo of "Running" I think he is trying to bait Canelo into fighting in a style that benefits his guy! Freddie Roach did the same BS and none of his guys could cut the ring off or deal with slick boxers

... well: "he is able" actually means that "he can do it"...

Briedis is a well rounded fighter; and I thought he would have caused Usyk even bigger problems...

Gassiev is durable and he punches like a mule...
