Russians will support Gassiev coming into the fight but if he loses then they will call him a "Churka" which is a abusive term used by Russians for people from the Caucasus. Gassiev is an Ossetian.

And if Gassiev wins they will call him Caucasian Ovcharka!

Remember Ali vs. Foreman. Ali wasn't known as a puncher either but Foreman was. Foreman was only stopped once in his career by the non puncher Ali. Expect a repeat of Ali (Usyk) vs. Foreman (Gassiev). Usyk´s workrate, speed and movement will tire out Gassiev in the 2nd half of the fight. Then I expect Usyk to stop Gassiev in late rounds. This fight has, actually, has only two outcomes: Usyk on points of Gassiev by KO. And looking at odds for this fight something tells me there won't be a decision.

The thing is Gassiev fought at a high tempo all 12 rounds against opponents who don't have speed, movement and great stamina. Let Gassiev fight Usyk & Briedis all 12 rounds at a high tempo. Then you will see the difference.Also Dorticos threw the whole fight always the same combination. He was very predictable which is not the case with Usyk. Usyk will make Gassiev work each 3 minutes of every round. And you will see a visibly tired Gassiev by Round 8. Btw Usyk is the favourite according to bookmakers. So you didnt even looked at the odds !

When i watch Gassiev fight it seems to me that he gets stronger in the later rounds not the other way round.
