Joe Hanks is a lot better than the opponents that : Hughie Fury, Joe Joyce, Tyson Fury, DDD have recently faced to be honest.

The WBC will likely make it a final eliminator for their title.

Every body calls Ortiz old and past it but nobody wants to face him.

Now with that loss they will even less feel inclined to face him unless he works into a mando spot

Ortiz is going to struggle to find opponents. He's too much risk for far too little reward. He's not going to give anyone a decent payday, so nobody who even is not fearful off being beaten won't take it because they want to be paid well for taking such a risky fight.

Plus he's so old, no promoter is going to willingly set up another decent fighters of their's against him even if they have options on him or have him under contract like Haymon because if he wins, his time in so limited it's an investment that doesn't make sense.

I suspect Ortiz will keep fighting nobodies and eventually fade enough that he will look vulnerable and then someone will swoop in and beat what's left of him. His only chance is if the WBC order a mandatory against Wilder or if Wilder takes a voluntary against him again as he's been suspended by every other sanctioning body for his last failed test.

Isn't he supposed to fight an eliminator for the 2nd WBC mando spot?

Fighting Ortiz is financial loss to the other fighter.
                    He draws no shhit.
