To beat AJ youve gotta have some instances of surprising power that catches him by surprise - to catch him off guard. I don't think Parker felt that he possessed this attribute in his arsenal and simply decided to coast into an eventual loss.....
I'm aware the ref didnt do a good job (AJ took a break for his glove that he openly pulled open with his mouth - with no approval or stoppage from the ref to do so). The ref also didnt allow Parker to work the inside, but like Wlad has done so often & Kovalev against Ward in that 1st fight, powerful Joshua simply powerfully clinched the weaker man so he couldnt "get off."
