Parker showed AJ more than than AJ showed him. Parker boxed and blunted AJ. AJ is the big KO artist, but he couldn't find Parker on a map. Look for Whyte to get the aggression points and all the close rounds, maybe a small ring and loose mat. Hearn needs to get rid of this embarrasment, as if AJ just had a bad night.

Say what you want about how parker fought, but I'm pretty sure his best work would of got done on the inside, the ref nullified any inside fighting, rewatch the fight. Aj on the other hand fought OK, but showed he ain't all that. Whyte saying the ref wouldn't allow inside fighting to save parker is ******, fight would've been more interesting. Parker surely wasn't good enough, but the ref took away part of his game plan it hat could've made a big difference in the resultTotally agree with sem-consious delusional Whyte regarding the fight.....Parker had no intentions whatsoever of being up close & personal, he wasnt about to test his chin against those brick breaking uppercuts and pulverizing straight rights, while Joshua felt it safe enough to try his boxing abilities against Mr. Reluctant, who btw decided "before" the fight that becoming a track star was much more admirable than trying to win a heavyweight boxing match. He knew with all that bulk, Joshua didn't have the ability to catch him flush.....so a KO was out of the question.....Comment

Fair assessment! I guess I was a little upset and "focused" at the fact Parker didnt work on any footwork to corner AJ - he didnt add to his game for a guy as big and powerful as AJ. Parker is a good fighter, but in my estimation, he's more focused on an aerobic oxygen based workout without a needed focus also on "power!"Say what you want about how parker fought, but I'm pretty sure his best work would of got done on the inside, the ref nullified any inside fighting, rewatch the fight. To beat AJ youve gotta have some instances of surprising power that catches him by surprise - to catch him off guard. I don't think Parker felt that he possessed this attribute in his arsenal and simply decided to coast into an eventual loss.....
I'm aware the ref didnt do a good job (AJ took a break for his glove that he openly pulled open with his mouth - with no approval or stoppage from the ref to do so). The ref also didnt allow Parker to work the inside, but like Wlad has done so often & Kovalev against Ward in that 1st fight, powerful Joshua simply powerfully clinched the weaker man so he couldnt "get off."Comment

I totally agree with you and so does the Wizard Of Oz..... I just think AJ was "willing" to work out the rust against a guy who he didnt think could hurt him

I think he "neutralized" it by mostly staying away. I remember when Joshua threw one that barely caught him, I was like, "damn if that connected Parker woulda been OUT or in the rafters!" of course I could be wrong, but I didnt see Parker allow himself to "mix it up" like say... a Gotti -vs- Ward or even Nigel Benn -vs- Steve Collin - these guys took more "chances" than maybe they should have......I'm unaware if Parkers chin can deal with power the likes of AJ or a Wilder......Parker, to me, avoided that kind of test. And thats because I don't think he wanted to find out - convincingly enough what he was made of......he made up his mind during training he didnt want to find out...Comment
