I can see him getting in mainly due to his drawing power in the sport. Whenever he fights he always has high viewership numbers & is probably one of the top 5 most known fighters in boxing currently. His career in general is pretty average due to not beating any top names but he’s definitely a draw in terms of when he fights. Do you think that would be enough for him to go in even if he never beats any top names?

It shouldnt be but didnt Stallone get in for playing a fighter?
It seems Hall of Fame is about popularity in some cases making Broner more than eligible.

Stallone got in in a different category, and it was well deserved as he brought a lot of people in to boxing and payed his dues

If he gets in, it won't be because of TV ratings or "popularity". It will be because he won belts in 4 divisions. Definitely not first-ballot though.

He is not getting in... at least Gatti gave memorable wars. Being a draw alone isnt gonna cut it.

No, and Gatti shouldn't be in either

Yes he should get in. If Naseem Hamed and Arturo Gatti can get in the hall of fame then Broner is a lock. Lest we forget Broner is part of a select group of fighters to become four division champions (alongside legends like Duran, Hearns, Jones, Mayweather ect). He is also the second youngest fighter to become a 4 division champion after Oscar De La Hoya. Definitely a hall of famer in my book.

Yes, I think he will get in. He's a "four division champion" and sells out houses, although I can't see why. He's not that fun to watch and is a total scumbag but I think he makes the hatred work in his favor apparently. He's found a gimick and works it. He'll get in.
