Hola, C. No, I don’t know what you’re referring to. Maybe I’ve heard, but since forgotten.

There's situation with Ramirez right now since it seems that he has a penal case open in Cuba for an assault.

Ramirez is as good as it gets. There is going to be a bidding war for his services because whoever gets him gets a future P4P level fighter.

What I mean is that he was up for letting baseball players in the majors, and return home for the National Series.

Sounds like something I might’ve heard. Not sure. Anyway, I would’ve liked the idea — better than the current system, at least. If the ballplayers got a chance to mingle more with big league talent, it would elevate their game even further. It’s pretty impressive Cuban baseball players have managed to play on the MLB level while being isolated for decades.

The same argument can be made for our fighters. Exposure to the pro game would bring up the general quality of Cuban boxing. I would welcome it. I agree with the haters on one point: Cuban boxing leans too far into the amateur style. It’s time to correct that.

Per my earlier comment, he may as well wait for the 2020 Olympics to finish. That would only be 15 months away.
