There will be many opportunities for Pacquiao if he wins. People line up for that payday. Pac can get 2-3 more wins over "B" level competition and still make real good coin. He may not be "the" name in boxing, but he is still "A" name.

Matthysse? You are correct on him. He is a respected opponent, but he has to find fighters to help generate gate. He might be lion bait to get an extra payday or two.

Leaning Matthysse, by the way. I know Pac isn't shot and all things equal should win this. I just think Matthysse needs this more and is the more focused, less distracted fighter.

Hahahaha! You must be joking, right? Broner can’t even beat Vargas, him and Berto will never beat an old and past his prime Pac. Now, if you say Crawford and Spence, it’s a different story, I might agree with you just because they are much younger than Pac.

I'm sure pac will fight like he has been ko'd to sleep before.

One of the things that should be taken away here is that despite Pac's age, his deteriorated skills, and that he's a shell of his former self... His skills, conditioning, and desire to win has kept him with the competition still to this day and pushing nearly 40.

Typical average shelf time of an aggressive ****er fighter is only in their prime years and then they got nothing left outside of it. Pac's been able enter multiple stages of his career by slightly changing it up. Perhaps the Marquez KO was a blessing in that it made him more counter puncher which is pretty good later in your career than straight up all out attack.

When a near 40yr old should have got the W over someone in their 20s and prime (Horn), it's a pretty damn good compliment towards how well his skills are despite the age and deterioration.

Main event is kinda meh. More interested in the co main events. Tepora-Ortega for the interim WBA title. Whoever wins between those two will face Rojas-Diaz winner. After winner of both, will face Santa Cruz by next year. The guy who knocked out Tete and Casimero, the South African veteran Moruti Mthalane (35-2) is fighting Muhammad Wassem (8-0) for the vacant IBF Flyweight title which was vacated by Donnie Nietes. Chinese Olympian Bin Lu (1-0) will try to beat Lomachenko's record for the fastest boxer to win a championship. He'll be facing against Carlos Canizales (20-0-1) for WBA regular title.

Personally I dont think either is "shot". Shot is when you have absolutely nothing left no matter how good or bad the opponent in front of you is. If you wanna see what shot truly is see David haye, degale, david price, Sergio Martinez, Roy Jones, robert Guerrero, Erik Morales etc. In their last fight. Pac and Mattysee are both past their best days but not even as bad as the bertos or alexanders or the world let alone the guys I mentioned above.
true story... both are past their prime, but still both will beat a lot of fighters like berto, broner, etc.
