But seriously, they had a few good cards but nothing that's much better than this.

None of the four announced fights are blockbuster fights, but at least three of the four fights are set to be competitive, and actually mean something for the winner.
Alexander-Berto gets the winner into position for a voluntary defense against Thurman or Garcia-Porter winner in the next fight (depending on when the fights happen, that'll likely be in early 2019) or positioned with Ugas for Spence's last fight of the year. Alexander is the likely favorite, but not by that much.
Love-Quillin, depending on how things shake out, likely end up near mandatory status for the IBF and WBC 168lb belts.
Collazo-Perrela is a young lion/old lion fight. Collazo's 10-5 over the last 10 years, but his only stoppage defeat was on cuts, and he's maybe been out classed once in that stretch. Collazo stops Perella, after stopping Vasquez Jr in the fight before that, and he likely gets another test fight before he gets a shot at a big fight (Collazo vs Jamal James would be interesting enough).
Marcus Browne is in a tickover, but I've never seen his opponent fight, so who really knows.
Not a bad way to enjoy a Saturday, tbh

weak fight that has no impact on 147 whatsoever. All this does is determine who gets fed to Spence next, while he waits another year for a Porter, Garcia, Thurman fight.
I can see it now Garcia/Porter winner avoids Spence & instead calls out Thurman, Berto/Alexander get fed to Spence in another b.s. tuneup, fans call it a good fight with Spence facing another "former champ" even though they pose zero threat, Spence completely steam rolls Berto/Alexander in another lopsided non competitive beatdown, Spence continues to call out Porter/Garcia/Spence, Crawford fight doesn't happen, and somewhere in the mix of all that, Khan says he wants Spence/Crawford but ends up fighting Rod Salka.

Even though their records still look good both of these guys are well past their Prime days especially Berto... this fight would have trouble even being a semi-final under a elite main event... it could even be an 8 rounder...
