When a southerner says "you all" it is a mistake to understand it is meant singularly. What we mean is you and all the rest your group. I'm a pure bred southerner and that is the way we in the southern USA understand this common phrase.Comment

Thank you for the clarification. Another poster had indicated that the choice of referee was up to the British Boxing Commission. It would have gone both ways. The officials would have been appointed by the BBBoC, but Wilder's team had the right to insist on a neutral ref.
The ref for AJ vs Parker wasn't picked by Hearn. Parker's promoter vetoed the original choice and insisted on a ref from a neutral country who had never worked on any of Hearn's shows before. That was why they ended up within an inexperienced idiot who fcked the fight up by interfering too much.Comment

Give wilder a guaranteed rematch (win or lose) in the USA and it becomes a fair deal for Wilder. While Joshua was initially skeptical of the high offer, Hearn confirmed that it's legitimate and the money is there.
Even with $50 million on the table, Joshua is willing to make less money in order to face Wilder in the UK.
If Wilder wins, then Joshua is willing to make the rematch in the United States.
"It's the general opinion of myself, AJ and Rob McCracken [Joshua's trainer] that because of the status of AJ in the fight and what we've built over here in the U.K. that we should try and get it over here because he has earned the right for that fight over here," Hearn told Nick Parkinson.
"If Wilder wins, the rematch can be over there in America. We are going back and forth with talks at the moment and I'm confident we can make that fight. AJ appreciates he might not make as much money by fighting in the U.K. but realises that Wilder should be coming to the U.K. to fight first."
Joshua has grown accustomed to having massive crowds at his events, which recently range from 76-90,000 fans packing a stadium.Comment

They BBBoC appoint the officials, just as, if the fight had been in Vegas, the officials would be appointed by the NSAC.
But each side has the right to a veto if they don't like the Board's choice.Comment

every fighter that fights in another country besides there's has to fight under that governing bodies rules...Lewis has to when he faced Holyfield ..pacquiao had to when he faced mayweather...that's the rules I'm afraid and if wilder don't want to then the fight won't happen here and Joshua won't fight there as well...spence did it when he beat brook and so did hooker when he beat Flanagan .Comment
