Absolutely beautiful place. Was stationed there in the USMC for a year and a half and some of my fondest memories come from this place. Scuba diving, the people, food, culture, night life. My god I was an 18 year old in heaven

Arecibo I just went to on a day trip to there and Camuy for the caves. It's nice there.

The whole island is beautiful. I really love visiting there and am going again in a few months. Everything you said is correct wonderful people, great food, culture and a great vibe and so much to do there. You can stay 2-3 weeks and you'll still have so much to do. This is set to be my 7th time there!!

Whoa! You’ve been a great deal! I was stationed at Sebana Seca (Levitown). The other base on the other side of the island was Rosevelt Roads. The base I was on was the better of the two as it was very close to all the hot spots (San Juan, El San Juan, El Morro, Condado, Isle Verde, etc etc.

It saddens me but both bases have since closed bringing an end to Marine Corps and Naval presence.

Oh an I fell in love 100 times over. The women LOVED LOVED LOVED Marines 😉👍
