Comments Thread For: The Art Of Beef And How It Enhances Boxing

It is of no coincidence that the two biggest fights that can be made in boxing are stuffed full of animosity. Both Canelo-GGG and a potential - and seemingly inevitable - showdown between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder feature fighters who aren't particularly fond of one another. For as much that has been said about wanting fighters to be cordial with one another, there's just something special about two fighters genuinely hating each other's guts. Or, at the very least, acting like it.

Bad blood is a great thing. That's been the trouble at welterweight especially - lots of high quality fighters but no beefs in sight. Dull as.

Floyd played it right with VADA. Manny suffered without VADA by Mexican meat who quit for the lucrative 5th match and never been caught like Clenelo?!

          Obviously. That's just common sense.

Bad blood heightens everything. That's why WWE still does big numbers and that's manufactured bad blood.

If two guys want to seriously hurt each other then obviously more people are going to want to watch it.

Instead of hbo announcing there would be no face off they should of said they tried to do it but before they started filming a fight broke out and it was cancelled and have Abel do interviews with a fake bruise on his face and do the weight in with glass between them to really sell it
