Originally posted by JRB123 View PostIt has been done multiple times by Wilder and his camp and many people know it, including Breazeale.
Now more people are starting to see what is going on and know that it is Wilder (and Finkel) prolonging the fight from happening.
All Joshua/Hearn are doing is following basic protocol. They get special permits to not fight a mandatory only if they fight for another world title. They got a permit from the IBF to fight Klitschko for the WBA "super" title, then Joshua defended against the top rated contender available in Takam. Since Ortiz gave up his spot to fight Wilder, the WBA wasn't due yet but Joshua still went ahead and had another title unification bout...this time against Parker in March.
There was only one permit left for any organization (in this case the WBA) to fight for another world title. Wilder held that title. Hearn/Joshua wanted to make that fight happen. The first offer was sent in April either before or after the WBA ordered Joshua-Povetkin. That offer was refused.
The next (latest) offer was sent to Wilder and his team and they stalled...deliberately.
Now with the Joshua-Povetkin fight soon to be official, you will see that Wilder-Breazeale be announced soon after.
It seems Hearn is the only to blame here, they put all their emotions on Wilder like the man is paying them. They were the B-side and tried to act like a A2-side.

Do you have a url proving that was even asked of him, any PEDs? Because I watched the lead up, the fight, the press afterwards. I don't remember this issue even being brought up. So please, enlighten the boxing world with your exclusive findings. We're waiting.

Friend, point is, 'who cares' is really kind of a vacant summation of reality. True boxing fans know Povetkin is world class and a threat to Joshua. This is a legit fight, and the turnout will prove it. Yes, there will always be the Povetkin haters, Canelo haters, Pac haters, (fill in the blanks) haters etc etc. Just don't expect to say 'who cares' and not have someone(s) call you out for misspeaking. That's all.
But I'm also inclined to believe Joshua will draaag this fight on - to make it seem more competitive than it actually is. Why? To fool his many "zombie" diehards that actually think PEDvetkin is good enough without his two go to drugs to hang with BIG powerPed Joshua in the ring. And for blatantly not speaking up for his fearful self while his master Hearn ran the show making this fight bigger than it is....
Barry & Eddies FEAR of Wilder has been infused into their impressionable young musclebuilders psyche.....So, while Joshua constantly runs from Wilder along with never taking a stand (during his entire career) signing up for round the clock random drug testing.... it has given me this "who cares" disposition......
Joshua & Povetkin are BOTH cheats in my eyes..... BOTH will take a DRUG hiatus for this fight because, Joshua he knows he can beat this 39yr old cheater, that "cheated" for BOTH Wilder & Stiverne: he knows he's bigger, stronger and more durable than Russias best, while PEDvetkin doesnt want to be caught out there AGAIN,.... and he sure doesnt know how to win without em'...

great fight! povetkin smashes wilder and all you scumbags know it. That's why wilder ducked and ran from russia with her tail tucked between her legs. beyonce wilder will go on to fight another bum. Bum squaaaaaaaad!!!

Wilder himself accepted the offer, but when the contract was sent it took days for any response to come back...that tells you that Wilder's team knew the situation with the WBA as did everyone with a bit of sense.
