It's real shady that a guy like Povetkin still gets these fights. In other sports he might already been banned for life.

Boxing needs a global body that oversees the national level sanctioning orgs, but who is going to pay for it? There is no real incentive for that at the moment. Perhaps it will come when a star fighter is seriously hurt or worse, by a PED user.

Yes I believe some HW have principles, like Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder and fight fair/free of PED's and Steroids ; don't try to mitigate Pedvetkins cheating -- its wrong at any weight period.

Now clearly Pedvetkin was on Meldonium and technically Takam could of took it -- but Sasha has a history of cheating : you don't stop at meldonium ; common sense suggest he was also taking a PED, maybe even a roid given his track record.

This is a stall to overwork Wilder. AJ is not fighting Povetkin. Fight will be called off because of Peds. AJ holds onto belt even longer. Then will figh rusty Fury for easy win. May not meet Wildzilla till 2020.
