Wilder is being taken advantage of by Haymon. He is making peanuts compared to Joshua. Al apparently has 50 million to pay Joshua but not him. Sounds like Wilder is getting a raw deal.

Yet Showtime and PBC can't offer that much?
DAZN just gave Eddie Hearn $250m over two years to deliver 64 shows (32 in the US, 32 in the UK) for their US streaming platform. $5m a show for the US events, leaves about $3m a show for Hearn to pocket as the US rights for his UK shows.

If that's the cost of saving face, Hearn is willing to pay it.

Wilder can fight Breazeale on CBS for $3.5m guarantee, fight Kownacki on CBS for another guaranteed $3.5m, and then make his PPV debut against Luis Ortiz for $5m+, and sticking there if he keeps winning.

$5m is a nice one-time purse, but what's the use in following a path that may get your fight seen by 100k people, when you can be seen by 3m+ people? Especially when that exposure can help him on his way to $10m+ purses even without Anthony Joshua?

Just looking to use Wilder to promote DAZN and get more American subscribers

Problem is he hasn't proven he can make a mark in America yet with a fighter.
