How much you make in a fight is based on how big the fight is, not how old you are. It will take Joshua three fights to make $50m, possibly four depending on who he faces. Hearn doesn't show "proof of funds" when it comes to that so we never really know anyway. It's like Arum and Pacquiao.

It wouldn't surprise me if Joshua, Finkel, Haymon, Eddie and Barry all agreed to delay this fight to next year to make it bigger without telling Wilder. It seems a likely scenario to ensure the WBA step in as it means both sides don't really lose face.

It seems the only reason for Wilder getting all emotional and crying on social media. He don't understand wtf is going on and has just been told to keep mentioning Joshua's name.

        His own boss, my ass.

Wilder just made 2mil his last fight....against the best fighter hes ever faced.

            2mil
            30mil

Yeah. Earnings wise it’s an insane discrepancy.

But it doesnt matter they arent fighting right now. A-B side doesnt matter til after their fights
Those numbers are wrong he made 23mil for Parker but that's not a average fight. This proves my point nobody really knows how much this guy is making per fight . If he made 23 against Parker he will make 50+ with Deontay.

Povetkin is just an easy opponent for Joshua to avoid Wilder and Fury. Povetkin is a steroid robot anyway and a slow joke.

AJs resume is a lot better though, and Wilder contradicting himself. Pick one - either he wants the fight or he doesn't. How can you say he don't want the fight one day to say that he would accept it if he was allowed the next?

That’s in pounds iirc. I tried rounding to dollars...but, you know...’murrica.

Why would he make 50+ against Wilder? Its estimated in the 30s... he split 50-50 with Wladimir and even then 50 was a push — combined.

Wilder doesnt bring in that much more money...the interest is in *Joshua* facing him, not Wilder per se. Theres a big difference.

People want to watch Wilder fight Joshua by virtue of it being Joshua. The demand to see Wilder fight as a standalone isnt really anything to write home about. I’m american and essentially no one knows Wilder here in comparison to how Joshua is known. He’a becoming more relevant but he could still go shopping alone... maybe get confused for another athlete at best. Might get flagged down by a guy or two for a pic.

I absolutely love Wilder but he’s not going to bring over 50mil in for Joshua m. Not due to his value at least...in addition to his required big cut.

Where does all this pretend revenue come from? I’m seriously curious.

If Wilder brought in that kind of money...we’d be seeing him bring in a little chunk of that already.

It’s no knock on him as a fighter. I’m just wondering where he’s getting this Canelo and Floyd star power from.
