How would losing a HW unification fight to an undefeated, 40-0 champion, derail Joshua's "money train"?The only thing stopping AJ from accepting 50 million dollars is fear. It doesn't matter who, Hearn or AJ or both are scared. A case of fear and common sense. Why derail the money train? They will bankrupt thier country just to prove AJ can get 20 million fighting second raters.Comment

well when teddy atlas, mike Tyson, bobby hearn and more are telling you not to take the fight next the only thing it can lead to is fear inside the poor guys mind. good post. fans have now become business men instead of boxing fans. they are willing to see aj make 20mil a fight so that they can brag that he doesn't need wilders 50mil. very interesting logicThe only thing stopping AJ from accepting 50 million dollars is fear. They are just making fools out of us.
And they will get more people to watch and make a fuzz about it in the meantime.Comment

His net worth is closer to what aj earned in the klitchko fight than it is to 20 mil. Aj makes in 1 fight what wilder makes in his career that should show you the commercial value of the two.Comment

£15M Klitchko
£10M Takam (according to Hearn )
£13M Parker (again Hearn which is probably inflated )
Now I'm no mathematician but don't think that's £60MComment

Tbh I don’t think he earns that much. It was reported he made £18mil against Parker which is about 23.5 million dollars.Wait a sec. I need proof of this. You telling me Joshua is already making $25-35 mil average per fight? I need a career break of purses for him. Just like how we can fact check Floyd. I could be late to the date but if that's really the case then they can easily give Deontay $20Mil for the fight.
Regardless even if they can afford to pay Deontay 20 mil why should they, you get what you’re worth and he’s not pulling in anywhere near that by himself. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again aj and Hearn aren’t a charitable foundation they don’t owe anyone a living.Comment

A boxing fan shouldn't care about boxers' salaries either, but we do. At least to me, the financials are always interesting, especially when something doesn't make sense.fair enough sir, I just don't understand how knowing where the money came from matters to a fan, it was proven to be a legit offer. u have al haymon involved and many other big names. wilders net worth is 15-20mil im not sure why fans act like hes counting pennies to pay for a meal lol
You say it was proven to be a legit offer. What does that mean? All we heard from Hearn is that they're interested in it, and they sent a few questions back. Do we, as fans, know anything after that? Were there any details in that offer? What kind of control & guarantees were in there?
Why did it come with the the PR-stunt type 24 hour deadline? We know that nothing happened for weeks after that deadline, so why mention it?
Nothing about that offer looked normal. It was significantly higher in value than the typical offer the fan makes, was short on details, they refused to answer questions about it, and came with a very short, artificial deadline.Comment
