Notice how quickly the back stabbing limeys have turned on old Lennox? This is classic to witness. Next it’ll be another British boxer chiming and they’ll sack on him too. It’s as if AJ were being crucified by Ponches Pilot and the Brits were witnessing it in protest. What a bunch of pampered ninnies

I think by the time this fight happens next year, i do think he would have deserve that 40%. His name has come up a lot more than before thanks to the Joshua link. This fight would now make more money next year than it would this year. If this was their plan all along then good for them.

Lol and what Joshua fought an over this hill former champion that got beat by a doughnut eating fat a@@ clown car show? Klitschko was well past his prime so no AJ really hasn’t beaten anyone of note either yet the Brits think he is the 2nd coming. Then they get all wrapped up in the Brit media drama as they paint a live scene between AJ and Klitschko as if they’ve always been soul mates. The Brits lap it up more than a dried up old lady reading a harlequin romance novel

you should have seen them when joe parker made similar comments...common sense would tell you if your only pro loss was to a certain guy you would want that guy to look as good as possible....but to these guys parker had some agenda against AJ even though hell be fighting on an eddie hearn card again soon..lol

All though Wilder fans will ignore this because it basically voids their argument and it’s very obvious to see but this is what Wilder was hoping for the entire time. You can tell when someone is trying to convince themselves of their own lie. And Deontae Wilder seems to invest a lot of energy in convincing himself of that what he is saying is true when he speaks with all of the huffing and puffing. But it’s working. He has increased his value and his profile by ntentiinally dragging his feet in negotiations convincing the public that it’s all Anthony Joshua’s fault. Just think about who benefits from the fight not happening. Certainly not Anthony Joshua. The media is not defending him and other boxers are backing Deontae Wilder to beat Joshua and his position in negotiations. AJ has more fans in his country than DW has in his but obviously Deontae has more friends in the business and he is successfully leveraging that against Joshua in a way that seems to be cancelling out Joshua’s larger fan base. Well played Deontay Wilder. Even though I think he could make more money by beating Joshua and building his fan base maybe he doesn’t believe that to be the case himself.

He is jealous of Joshua he’s made it pretty obvious the last two years

I agree Lewis would wipe the floor with Joshua / any current heavy weight

I don't really care what they decide as long as the fight gets made.

However, an athlete, and anyone for that matter, gets what they can negotiate...not necessarily what they deserve. I think Wilder was willing to take the 15 mil because he was betting on himself should the fight happen next, as a rematch would have been 50/50. However, after being jerked around, he decided that if the fight happens he will get a percentage, just like basically every big fight in recent memory.

End of the day, this fight will likely be a 2-fight deal similar to Klitschko at a 65-35 or 60-40 split.
