This bout was originally scheduled on May 6th, 2017. It was postponed due to Hughie Fury receiving a lower back injury. Parker instead took on Razvan Cojanu in Auckland, New Zealand as a voluntary defense.
Promoter Mick Hennessy said he would be appealing the decision. WBO supervisor John Duggan backed the decision to have Parker as the winner. He made it clear that the result would not be investigated or overturned.
Fury was paid £750,000 while Parker took home £1.1 million.
The US dollar conversion was more like $1.5 million but the point remains.Comment

Says someone who knows jack sh@t about life here!
We are doing better here than we have in fkn decades! Decades!
Business is ridiculous! Our economy is even better then imagined and we even denuclearized a world wide threat in less than half of a single term! Everything is better aside from butt hurt abusers of our welfare system and illegal immigrants! You literally couldn't be more wrong.
You should not trust the media who is controlled by ******* twats who hate Trump.
Trump is the single most accomplished president ever if judged on time in office relative to overall turn around.Comment

Read the comments in here. Not pointing you out in particular and I’m A-ok with disagreeing but nah I’m not buying jealousy. Compared to these fighters Lennox”s time and the fighters in that time would have mopped up the division today (all fighters). HW division is extremely weakComment

Joshua generates that kind of money which is why he gets paid so much. He's on PPV, Wilder isn't. And how much you earn isn't connected to resume, so save yourself from making ridiculous statements. Mayweather was one of the most boring fighters you'll ever see, but it didn't stop him from being the biggest PPV fighter in American history did it?Comment

If this is true, then he gets paid pretty much the same as Wilder. So Wilder isn't a much bigger star. Plus, Parker didn't get 15 million for the Joshua fight it was about 6 million.Comment
