Huge GGG fan BUT I can't argue here and tend to agree.Canelo is a "big name" in boxing, but he does not have a title @ 160 and he does not have a title @ 154. I don't think stopping Canelo makes GGG P4P #1. I think stopping Linares @ 135, was a bigger deal for Loma, because Loma was the guy moving up after winning @ 126, and 130! Same w/ Crawford, winning @ 130 and 135, moving up to win all 4 belts @ 140, and then moving up to win a title @ 147! Same w/ Mikey, winning @ 126 and 130, moving up to win @ 135, then up again to win a title @ 140! I can't put GGG over Loma, Crawford, and Mikey!Comment

Except compete in multiple weight classes and become a unified champion in 2 of them. Ggg is fighting a guy who is only fighting for the third time at 160.Comment

P4P? What nonsense. It is an imaginary ranking that can never be substantiated. Most people cannot agree on the best fighter in a specific weight class let alone P4P. Think of it this way: What if Joe Frazier had retired in April of 1971. Yup. Joe beats Ali, and then a few weeks later, Joe retires for good. Now I love Joe and always have, but would I rank him the number one heavyweight of all time even if he had retired undefeated in April of '71. Two guesses. (this is presuming that you believe Ali in number 1 all time heavyweight)Last edited by Vae Victis; 07-02-2018, 02:16 PM.Comment

Good list...Personally, I would have GGG and Canelo ahead of Crawford at this point. Bud needs a signature win to crack the top 3 in my opinion. If AJ stops Povetkin, he also has a legit claim to the top 5, even though I think Wilder gets in his azz when that fight finally comes off.Comment
