I get this feeling GGG wanted a rematch to get a second bigger payday. I keep saying I shouldn’t, but I know I would if I’m making a million or two a fight, cut in half for taxes, cut against for everything else. The money isn’t as much as folks think. The first fight was good money, but a second one will mean he’s set.

So it would not at all shock me if what I viewed as ggg slowing down, was more him trying to keep it close and win a close one. It explains why he wouldn’t throw when he had Canelo trapped. That and Canelo will theoretically be clean this fight.

Time will tell.

Nobody gave the other a beating in the last fight. If anything GGG is aging while Canelo is entering his prime. I see Canelo outboxing GGG for a close decision
