Who is Ducking in this Scenario?

Lets say GGG beats Canelo. Billy Joe Saunders offers GGG $25m guarantee and 50/50 of split of revenue above that for a fight in London on UK PPV. GGG declines and says he wants to fight in Kazakhstan even though he will only make $20m. He offers BJS a flat fee of $10m (approx 5x times his highest ever purse) and a one way rematch clause. BJS turns it down.

Who is the ducker in that scenario?

I think there is way too much who ducked who threads on this board every day now. Look at the threads on any given day and about 90% of them are on who is the ducking coward, AJ or Wilder. Earlier almost all the threads were on what split GGG should get for the Canelo rematch and he became triple beg to his haters. Now you make up an imaginary situation and want to know who is ducking who. I think Saunders and GGG both want to fight each other badly enough that they will reach an agreement when the time comes. If they don't then the just don't fight. That happens all the time in boxing. It doesn't mean it's either boxer's fault or one boxer ducked the other. It just means they could not reach a mutual agreement so they did not fight.

Anyone who gets offered 5x there pay day can’t complain from a financial view in my opinion, but it takes two to tango. BJS isn’t really a huge draw, he pulled off an impressive win last time out but he isn’t on same level as GGG or Canelo. In reality they therefore hold the cards in the same way canelo has with GGG.

If Golovkin could get $20m to fight in Kazakhstan, he'd say **** Mexican style, ditch Abel Sanchez, and fight out the rest of his run in eastern Europe.

        Keep perspective for a moment

You forgot to mention the part where BJS accepts the $h1tty flat fee offer and GGG's camp panics and sends him a dummy contract with no venue or date to buy time.

Flat fees are a just another way of saying "I DON'T WANT THE FIGHT."

Increase your numbers to account for inflation and add random drug testing to a 50/50 deal.

BJS wouldn't turn it down. He actually believes he can beat GGG.
