    We want fights like that.
Not washed up Mexican punching bags with eyes and legs kind of fights. Blood guts glory Mexican style got it!. That's we expect from Connello. Why do you think Connello got booed in the last fight. He talked the talk. But didn't walk the walk. Fighting off his back foot, that wasn't Mexican style. His people weren't fooled like most of the fan boy groupies on here.
Good post. I watched the Golovkin/Canelo fight again the other night. Canelo had no choice but to back up from Golovkin. As the fight went on Golovkin continued to pursue him aggressively. Canelo countered him but Golovkin walked through them. I think the rematch will begin where the last one left off. Golovkin won’t be as tentative early on this time. Canelo was clearly booed after the fight during the interview and the reason was pretty obvious. It is what it is.

It really isn’t a good post though. (No disrespect to dude) you can’t expect Canelo to play into GGG strengths. Canelo isn’t going to stand there and trade wiTh a guy with GGGs power, just like GGG isn’t going to wildly throw punches at someone with canelos counter punching skills. And GGG was clearly very cautious to throw. These boxers strategies to win are per opponent not per fan. Sorry if you aren’t “entertained” on their road to victory. And anyone booing at the end of their first fight ***** em. That was a great entertaining fight

But you can’t expect a man to not have a strategy or not play to his strengths. PLUS GGG hits WAY harder then anyone of those guys in the fights you mentioned. You don’t want to stand there and take many blows from him.
Thanks bro just trying to keep it real on this Mexican style debate. Much appreciated.

Angulo never had jab to keep Connello off of him. Just a total punching bag with eyes. Now GGG, we seen what kind of jab he has. Why do you think Conello went to boxing off his back foot most of the fight.

He only landed 15% of his punches according to you. He landed 32% percent. Canelo landed 42%. Golovkin threw more punches and landed more scoring punches overall and in 10 of the 12 rounds. Golovkin missed 68% of his punches, Canelo missed 58%.

I agree that Canelo had no other option but to not “stand there and trade with a guy with GGG’s power.” Canelo did what he was capable of but IMO it wasn’t enough. My objective opinion came from what I observed. Nothing else. It was an entertaining fight but Canelo was booed because fans “generally “ didn’t think he did enough to earn even a draw. I’ve always thought the outcome of this fight would be decided before the fight to force a rematch and the money it brings. The judging showed that this was the case. I hope a clean Canelo can handle Golovkin’s style in the rematch. What do you think? More of the same or a different strategy? I think he has to change things or Golovkin will prevail.

I think it the first bell will be for round 13. I personally had Canelo winning by one round. Draw is more the acceptable and having GGG winning a razor thin decision is acceptable as well. There’s 3 judges for a reason because because fights are can be based on opinion. With that being said. I think Canelo will win by doing a little bit more based off what he learned from last fight. I don’t think GGG can do much more other than throw more punches which plays into canelos hands. I believe Canelo is slightly more talented and that is going to be the difference.

The rematch will definitely start as round 13 as you said. Canelo is extremely talented. It unfortunate that his Peds use mucked things up for him. That really isn’t the issue. The issue in the rematch will be if he can hurt Golovkin. Based on the first fight it doesn’t look like he can and Golovkin now knows it. No question Canelo is faster but will he be able to hang in there. It should be a great fight.
