It’s sad to here MFs down play the win over Ortiz! It’s sad because no one, not one of the top HW then, and frankly now, was or is trying to fight this allegedly old man Ortiz! I mean right now the division is trying to wait it out and let Father Time beat Ortiz instead of actually fighting him like Wilder did!
The flat fee was a joke, but that wasn’t why the fight fell through. It fell through because Eddie was trying to fight nearly a year from now, because Eddie had the audacity to send a contract with a rematch garuntee if his fighter lost but not one if Wilder lost. Those and I a few other issues are legit conscerns, and just because someone is the A side you don’t let them completely kill you in the negotiations! You can say DW doesn’t have a country behind him all you want, but that’s because we know Amerikkka is a much more racist place! And even with that being said AJ cannot make any real noise on a PPV, with out Wilder! Name me one fighter he can make noise with on PPV besides Wilder? Wilder deserves at least 20-25 million, plus a percentage on the backend, and a garuntee rematch, that is fair, because even if the fight takes place in England the far greater revenue will be from the states! The fight will do IMO, at least 2 million PPV buys! They low balled him on the money, then threw up many obstacles they never gave anyone else! They want time, because they don’t have total confidence that AJ can beat Wilder!

Reporters need to ask some questions;
Why is it only matchroom bosses & matchroom sycophants defending the deal?
Why is everyone else, boxing neutrals calling Hearn & AJ on the duck?
If Bellew cant answer those questions then he needs to calm down!
