You win the prize for being the lone healthy brain who did not react with De La Hoya-defending bullshėt after my original post.

Listen, I know that this is a sore spot for many fans of Oscar, but believe me: many REAL experts think the same. De La Hoya was a good fighter, but not an ATG. Olympic medals and multi-titles have been as meaningful as crap for decades, now. Come on.
Oscar didn't lose to every serious foe he met. Put down the Shabu dog.

I'm an expert, THE expert and I say Oscar is an ATG. Boxing is in my blood. I'm nto some old crusty áss bítch that never fought. Those old hats don't mean jack. Oscar was an ATG not only in skill, but he changed the landscape from HW's to WW's. He paved the way for fighters like Floyd and Pacquiao. Without HIM, there was no THEM. Women who never saw a Boxing match in their life were watching Oscar with wet panties. 40 year-old housewives had hard ******* ready for every fight. Name the last fighter that pulled that shít off? Oscar was a pimp!

Not only all that, but he did great with his investments and business'. He paved the way for Boxers to make a living after Boxing. GBP is doing great. Even though he's a sexual freak, who cares. If I was him, I probably would have put on womens panties too at some point. Deff never took a rolling pin in the keister.

He soundly beat Trindad and Whitaker. Sweet Pea made him miss, but never made him pay. Oscar won that fight. Trinidad was complete robbery. Oscar schooled that fool. I'll give you Quartey, but I haven't seen that fight since it happened so who really knows.

Shane was juiced to the gills so definite *'s on those losses.

      Molina
      Ruelas
      Hernandez
      Leija
      Chavez
      Gonzalez
      Whitaker
      Camacho
      Rivera
      Carr
      Trinidad
      Corley
      Castillejo
      Vargas

^ were all great wins. He only started losing to juiced up Shane and fights at 154-160 before he was shot.

Those dudes weren't on losing streaks either unlike Pacquiao's resume.

I was never a fan of Oscar's until the Trinidad fight. But the truth is, Oscar was a very very special fighter.

I admire your passion and expertise. But let me tell you, we see different realities. If you think that a fighter is an ATG because women were screaming every time he missed, we're tuned on different stations. Basically you're telling me that someone who has good looks and can fight a bit is an ATG if the hype machine goes behind him.

And, for the record, I never drank or smoked, let alone drugs. And when one of my boxing idols failed I was the first to admit it.

Didn't De La Hoya have to stay at 147 for Pac fight? So, they kept him weight drained.
