Finkel knew the WBA had given Hearn 2 months worth of extension and he went public saying he was sending contracts back after 11 days holding it without returning it or signing it.

If Finkel kept his big mouth shut, the WBA may not have stepped in. But he knew the WBA were listening and waiting.
