  • I dont think a blind, near deaf and disabled man is silly. Thats what those rabbit punches did. And the headbutts.

        • What the **** Mikeytwofive? Benn was in as bad shape as Mcclellan once the fight was over, it was Benn who was outclassed. You guys make to big a deal of a man killing some damn dogs.

But seriously, making way to big a deal of it.

I always heard that Mcclellan wasn't damaged in the actual Benn fight, but in the first Jackson fight. He complained of Dizziness and migraines almost daily after the fight often until the Benn fight but passed it off as a side-effect of being hit by the #1 hardest hitter in middleweight history(I say Mcclellan hit harder though!)
He then sparred heavyweights who punched like hell and allowed them to hit him to increase punch resistance for the Benn fight(Yes that will help you, but will increase chance of injury.) And the headbutt, and the going way to far, and the this and that caused him to be where he is.

They say that the pain of the clot had overwhelmed him by the 3rd round and he should have stopped before that. Just imagine what would have happened if it never developed? Benn would have died instead! Terrible tradgedy. Both men left for dead after the fight, but Benn came out worse IMO, he has had a hard time dealing with it. He ever attempted suicide. They say Mcclellan is happy now though.

              • The G Man got what he deserved in my opinion. Adult nappies for life.

                • Bah he didn't die, and even he says he is better off the way he is now than what he was. Mcclellan was on a slipperyslope straight down as far as you can be allowed to go, but God turned that around in a split second and saved Mcclellan.

                  • fight should have been stopped in the first when benn got his ass knocked out of the ring. also the ref had to step in front of g-man to stop him from punching benn several times for unknown reasons(save him)
illegal rabbit punches and reffing did g-man in not benn. british boxing is a giant scam and they will do anything to win.

That fight could have been stopped in the first round.
Benn was defenseless aginst the ropes.
Its pretty lucky he fell when he did.

No one deserves that ****, man.
Nonsense. Benn couldn't miss that overrated ****eater.
