the contract didnt state when the fight would be. when wilder wanted in writing that the fight would be next, hearn finally admitted the fight would be in 10 months after povetkin, so wilder refused to sign because eddie wouldnt keep his word about the fight being next.

How many times did Hearn clearly say that Wilder needed to sign the contract immediately, without any more delays, if he wanted to fight AJ next ...before the WBA ordered the mandatory with Povetkin?

But Wilder didn't sign, so now AJ has to fight Povetkin next.

All that interview told me was that Wilder hopes that Povetkin KO's AJ so Wilder can fight him instead of AJ. Like I've been saying, Wilder will get destroyed by AJ and he knows it.

The fight would have to be in April now because Wilder didn't sign the contract for a fight in Oct or Nov this year and the WBA got tired of waiting and ordered AJ to fight Povetkin next.

Hearn said he overpaid Parker. In fact, Hearn has had to overpay for a lot of his opponents and he doesn't want to do it any more. Which is fair enough.

Plus, Joshua only had 2 titles with that contract, he has 3 now, so he doesn't need to keep offering every tom **** and harry a big split when they aren't worth it. Joshua isn't a charity you know.
