In terms of boxing and pure boxing alone then yes, Povetkin is dangerous. But in reality, Povetkin is old, short, and is looking his age lately in his last couple of fights. AJ is taller, bigger, younger and he should demolish this small heavyweight that can't knockout cruiserweights.
But, 3 titles on the line does a lot to motivate a man, I expect Pov to bring whatever he has got and we know he’s skilled and age won’t have removed that power shot he possesses.
If there was no drama about Wilder going on this would be a fair match up, I’ll be watching.Comment

I can see Povetkin sparking Joshua out, or possibly another Joshua v Parker boring safety-first approach from AJ. I don't think Joshua will come forward and knock Povetkin outComment

Povetkin vs AJ will probably look a lot like Povetkin vs Wlad, only since AJ's jab isn't as good, he will need a ref to help out more to keep Povetkin outside. Povetkin can't fight at all on the outside, and needs to duck in close to land his hooks and overhands.
All Wlad did was tie him up every time he came in. Povetkin actually initiated most of the hugging due to his style. If he does get in, he can be dangerous, and in this fight has nothing to lose.
Being taller, look for AJ to again hold and hit illegally like he did in the Parker fight, and for the ref to break them everytime Povetkin gets close.Comment
