If he can bring us more good match-ups more regularly then i dont care who it is as long as they bring us the big fights.

The only thing these sportsmen are going to be motivated by is money.

They should be paid less for lesser opponents.
There should be more than just accolades for fight and fighter of the year.
How about retaining a high % of earnings in a simple heavily regulated account so that they don't have millions to lose spending during their active years? This would never wash but these are ideas borne of frustration.

Bro are you seriously suggesting regulating a grown mans bank account? What’s the point of being rich? What country are you from? And listen let me explain to all yous something cause yous think you know boxing.. if these guys loved fighting and wanted to keep fighting they’d never have signed contract and gone pro they’d stay in the amateurs

As Butch McRae said, this is perfect from a fighter's perpective that they earn 1/2 million a year fighting some guy 2 levels below them - but what about the fans perspective? Tennis is in some ways similar to boxing in that its a pro sport for individuals (leaving aside doubles) but the only way to get the money is to beat all the competition. The WBSS is a breath of fresh air but I wish it was mandatory to enter.
Regards amateurs fighting more. Thats true but its not just about fighting more times its about fighting the best and its always been presumed that the best gravitate to the pros. There's no amateur around these days claiming tobe best in the world.

Lets see how Hearn does. He may have failed with AJ-Wilder but he has a track record of putting decent fights together quickly - Whyte-Parker, Johnson-Beterbiev (no so decent but glad to see Beterbiev stop stagnating) and Brook-Golovkin which was better than no fight if Eubank fight fell through and was scratched.
As for the rest - lame >>
PBC - some good fights but nothing like was anticipated 3 years ago
Main Events - nothing happening of note
          TopRank - too inward looking
Golden Boy - too inward looking
          Frank Warren - too protective
Sauerland - bs fighters and fight
Russian promoters - not bad but should be more active

Funny. I don't remember boxers being responsible for their splash in '05, nor their growth thereafter, let alone being able to be worth being bought for $4 billion
