the problem with the Lewis fight is this.....

NOBODY can question a stoppage by the doctor..... NOBODY

oh..... unless you can furnish your medical degree..... then provide proof that you are experienced..... and then provide proof that you had a closer look at Vitali's face than did the ringside physician

the " controversy " in that fight is caused by two things.....

in order.....

1) the fact that there was no rematch
2) the fact that Vitali may have been ahead on the cards at the time of stoppage

FACT: NEITHER of those reasons are valid justification to question that WIN by Lewis

e.g.

Vitali may have won the rematch, but so what..... how does that change what happened in the first fight?..... a reverse-win rematch does not erase the result of the first fight, it creates a trilogy

and Vitali may have been ahead on the cards, just like many other fighters were before they got stopped..... again, so what?

I admit that Wlad achieved more..... but Vit > Wlad imho

Explain how you came to this conclusion. When Wilder’s side was assuming all the financial risks. Especially when AJ isn’t a proven draw in America. Which is where the fight would have taken place had AJ accepted the $50M guarantee. The only thing we have to go on as far as AJ’s drawing power in America is his low TV ratings. Wilder’s ratings are actually better.
