He agreed to sign if they'd verify the fight would be next. Why are you under the impression he needs a pen? He can't force them to do the fight next. Finkel says he has an email from Hearn saying the fight wouldn't be next even if Wilder signs.

I hear Wilder cussing and name calling but I hear no reason from him why he didn't sign a contract to fight AJ. Hearn and AJ are serious and business like. Wilder just yells and curses but when it comes time to sign the contract and go through with the fight he punks out. Big mouth but no action. Wilder is happy to be a cherry picking WBC champ and let AJ keep the rest of the belts and be considered the real heavyweight champ by most boxing fans in this world. He had a chance to try to change all that by signing the contract and beating AJ in the ring, taking his belts and becoming the A side. He made his chicken's choice. AJ will go on making many times what Wilder makes every fight. AJ is the winner. Wilder will still make millions and be successful but AJ will remain a superstar and the real champion to most fans until somebody beats him in the ring. Cussing him out on the internet won't change that.
