You're looking for class as a boxing fan? You might want to reconsider which sports you watch.

Every AJ fan that starts to realize Hearn was lying and stalling the fight reacts the same way. Instead of admitting they were wrong all along about who was lying and stalling, suddenlly they're "bored," "tired of talking about it," etc and want to end the conversation because the evidence has become so overwhelming.

        • I still think AJs a warrior and will fight anyone anytime

But kind of disappointing to see him go ghost lately since his 50 million dollar interview he gave doesn’t even have the stones to respond to Wilder questioning his manhood. Wilders seems right it seems like the Muzzles been put on AJ

I get it AJ wants to play it safe and do all the right things for PR but Hearns a snake and it’s a shame AJs letting Hearn control this situation for Hearns benefit because at this point I think AJs rep has taken such a hit that he won’t ever be able to cross over in the States the damage is done.

Who decides what a real job is? If I make more money than you, does that mean you have a fake job?

Haymon isn't the one who pays me.
you need a grip of reality son.....what the hell has shirley winkle ever done for wilder......jack **** thats what !
For an american heavyweight champion who has made 7 defences against only 1 decent challenger and his career highest purse of 2.4 million , who is not known by the american general public , has never once boxed as a ppv fighter is appalling....simply appalling.
            Finkle has ruined wilders career.
Hearn on the other hand has made joshua a multi millionaire , holds the IBO,IBF,WBO and IBF WORLD TITLES and ppv star in his own country and the biggest sporting star in the uk and possibly the most marketable face in boxing now.
Wilder had a chance to sign but didnt and now he is ilked because joshua now has to face povetkin 1st .....big deal lol
But wilder can still have the fight next april and still in the meantime get his highest purse of 5 million fighting a bum of his choice...which is double his highest purse lol.
Hearn has completely blitzed wilder and Finkle and they know it.
Stop crying accept the fight or move on to keep fighting tomatoe cans

C'mon Sid, you can come up with something better than that. I respect you man but that was one of your most pathetic reps I've seen.

Work on something, be creative, cause that was just plain sad.

              • Too many Hearniacs on here all hoping for a hernia

Wilder should let aj sweat. Ridicule him non stop & refuse to fight for anything less than 50%

AJ needs him now...like how canelo needed ggg.
The duck has been obvious & AJ(thanks to hearn) has been made to look scared

As has been noted the heavyweight division is light. They'll both fight the same guys.
                Difference is fear of losing

AJ wants a cautious approach a la klitschko. The very style that was honed to protect the fighter getting ko & prevent him losing. It was known as effective but boring. Like the parker fight

Wilder would have starched parker...not a borefest like we got with AJ

Wilder leaves his opponents jerking on the floor.

AJ gets a ref stoppage with his opponent conscious

If they both fight the same opponents..who gives a fück about the venue?
Itll be on tv & the focus is the ring & fighters
It wont matter if theres 9000 or 90000 in the stadium. Its the fight that excites

In that scenario Wilder wins...he makes it clear

                Aj can carry on cautiously

AJ & his team have been exposed globally & no amount of trolls, sycophants or hearniacs on here will have any real baring on that fact. They might think they're on point but they're just trolls and morons trying to goad.
They have no baring on the real world. Nor does their opinions or their hernia digs about revenue.

Its boxing, a fight...all that matters is who wins & by what method

A guy that takes his opponents head off

Or a guy that fights safety first

                The latter isnt as impressive

Aj is no mayweather...hes not even a prime klitshscko

Hearniacs should stick to what they're good at...making the tea & coffee at their place of work

They can hum the white stripes theme as they offer out their digestives & tea biscuits

Its world boxing...it doesnt matter how hearniacs view AJ

England always think they're in with a shout at football, its a little island mentality. As they've been shown on the world stage..feelings & facts dont tally up. England are shïte at football..but the football fans buy into the hype. These are the same uk fans hearns has recruited. They're all a bit dolly dimple...simple

                • [QUOTE=ukbox;18895172]All the press releases by Hearn were that he was angling for Oct /November date in the UK.
Its not a giant leap to say these were what was agreed by Wilder.
Therefore the contract should have stated exact date tba but agreed in principal for thr months of oct-november 2018
That would have been a contract that adhered to the terms that wilder had agreed to[/QUOY

Your entire theory is one based on supposition that you try to manipulate and claim as fact, only to suit and enforce your argument. The post above simply continues in this vain and by using the words "angling" and "giant leap", you are simply making my point for me. To then determine that the contract "should" have stated XXXXX and agreed in principle to XXXXX is nothing but the baseless diatribe of someone trying to win an argument... you don't know what the contract contained any more than I do! The facts still remain that the contract still hasn't been signed and regardless of what you think or state to be true, no one outside of the respective teams really knows it's contents or what communication (or not) has passed between them. Frankly, I'm slightly stunned that someone can put so much belief in rumor and innuendo found in the media, put there by promoters for no other reason than to push an agenda...

Cotto's purse was manipulated just like Wilder's. Filed purses are nonsense at the higher level.

Most of Haymon's top stars likely make double of whatever is listed.
Anything the fight generates - gate, broadcasting rights, sponsorship, PPV (if any). Cotto is a star so he gets a cut of that on top of his guaranteed purses. His fights actually make money, Wilder's don't. It's enough to have a look at the purses of Wilder's opponents in his 7 title defenses. Apart from Stiverne and Ortiz who got around 500k, the rest got between 140K and 250K. That's peanuts for a title defense and indicates what the pot for his fights is. You are dreaming if you think Wilder makes double what his reported purses are. Haymon has been losing money on Wilder but the cash-out is coming soon, he will finally get a return on his losing (so far) investment.

Yes, the top fighters can make more than their guaranteed purses but that's usually reported. It depends on what kind of deal they have with their promoter. It's not about saving on sanctioning fees and taxes. Sanctioning fees are 2%-3% and anything the fighter receives - purses, revenue cuts, bonuses, etc., will get taxed one way or another.
