Joshua is getting shares in Matchroom son. It benefits him to do this business.Comment

Says who? Either way he's gonna get shares in a failed app, cause DAZN might be successful elsewhere, but that **** ain't gonna pop in the States. And after this negotiation(seeing a fighter give up 50million or 50% because the promoter wanted something else is not a big motivator to sign with a promoter), I don't see any of Haymon's guys coming over to sign with him, so how are they gonna build this?Comment

Joshua said about shares in Matchroom, with Hearn present, in an Ifl interview talking about his new contract.Says who? Interesting indeed. Streaming is the way it seems and HBO are on that path. You should check out streaming subs for the services out there in entertainment. Last reported figure for Showtime was 4 million subs. I'm not too familar with DAZN but if they want to get serious subs in the US they'll need more than sports to do it imo. The leaders out there offer original content that pulls the vast majority of their paid users.
Here's a cool little source...

How is Netflix faring?
Is there room for sports to join the party?Comment

If that's the case Joshua leveraged the hell out of his position; good on him for that. He's still a ***** for this whole Wilder situation, and I still wish him failure in his future endeavors because of it, but good on him for being an ownerComment

To my knowledge, Netflix has only focused on original programming (TV & film). Their name hasn't been involved in any sports rights bidding conversations. Out of all the players in the space, they're the only truly hardcore tech company. Which obviously gives them a true advantage. 125 million global subscribers lolComment
